I woke up the next morning and relized it was 8 o,clock. "Holy crap I'm late for school"Emme said. So I got dressed and ran outside thats when I rememberd that my car was in the shop and my mom went to work. So I got my bags and started runningand guess what I ran into a light great I am going to be even later. So I was sitting there when I relized someone was calling me so I turned around and guess what it was Matt.

"Need a ride to school" OMG it's Matt "Uh ya"I said. "So... hows your day going"Matt asked. I sould see he was nervus.

"Oh... well first I wake up late then I go out side and remember that my car is getting fixed and my mom went to work so" she said to fast to understand. "Ok, looks like I didn't have the worst day affterall"

"Ah and what happend to you."

"O well Travis is sick so I had to take care of him and Sonny is out being Sonny and Derek is going crazy O.. wait he was always crazy and my work called me and said that I have to work so we we can't have practice till friday so I am really strest and just thing are really crazy right now. pause and uh.... Emme I know we just met but I was wondering if mybe you... wanted... to....go...out sometime." Matt said.

"Uh... ya I would love to go out with yoou but could you plese get me to school," I said.

"O, o sorry" Matt said. We had been sitting there at a green light for about 5 minutes and atleast 15 cars hunking at us. "Uh ya, lets go Matt said embarased.

"Ya, so I will see you later" I said happily. "Ok, and I hope you have a great day" Matt said. "Ya rite me have a good day by Matty bye see you later" I said grinning.

So I went in and got my schedule and I had Mrs. Blamen room 225. So big school do not now were the heck I am going so I saw a group of guys and went to words them to ask one turnd around. "Um excuse me do you now were Mrs. Blamens rooom is" I asked.

"Ya, thats exacly where we where justheaded" the really tall one said. "Fallow me" So they lead me to the classroom and I told the teacher I was new and she asked if I would like to tell my classmates a little bit about me so I said yes.

"So" I said "My name is Emme I am moving here to New York from Ohio, big differnce. I am 17 and live with my mom, I have one brother named derek and I like to play the guitar and sing and thats a little bit about me."

Then I went and sat down next to one of the guys that I had met on the hallway. "Hi whats up my name is Jake and this is Black, Drake, and Brake we are the cool kids, not really we are the really weird rocker kids no one hangs out with. If you don't like us, no hard feelongs, "The guy said.

"O ok well there's nothing to worrie about I hate all the prepy freaks. "I said. Ha ha ha they laght together. "Jake do I have to get on to you every day about talking do it one more time and you will go straight to the office," the teacher yelled.

"No m'am" Jake said.

After School

So I got my stuff out of my loker and went out side to start walking when sudenly I was stoped by blake. "So you can play guitar and sing well would you like to be in our band because we have been looking for a singer and guitarist forever and we think it would be cool to havea girl in the band," he said.

"Ok I wouuld love to be in a band my brother has been trying to get me in a band for years," I said.

"Ya, do you have a place we can practice because Drakes mom is sick of us practicing in her basement." "Ya, I have a bigbasement that ya'llcanpractice in. Well I have to go home so I'll see you tomorrow or something," I said as I started to walk away.

So I got home and walked into my room and sat on my bed andthinking. So me and Matt is this going to fast I've only known him for 2 days and we are allready going out. So I called him. "Hey Matt, whats up. I just wanted to talk but your probably buisy so calle me back later k." Darn I got his answering machine. So I did my homework and went to bed.

(Ding Dong), the doorbell rang

"Mom I got it" I said.

"Ok sweetie" she said

"OMG Derek!' I squiled leaping into his arms "I missed you so much."

"I...missed...you...to"he saidakwardly "O ya, this is my band this is Sonny, Trravis, and Matt" he said pointing to each of them as said there

"Nice to Meat you guys"I said "Well ya'll want to come in and talk,"

"O sorry Emme but me ant the guys are going to practice at dads house and I was wondering if you wanted to come and you now watch us, he asked.

"Well I should be unpacking but I would love to come watch you guys" I sad sarcasticly.

"Well do you need a ride" Sonny asked.

" Ya, my car is in the shop getting the brakes fixed." "Well you wouldn't have to get it them fixed if you didn't drive so fast my mom interupted.

"shutup" I yelled back.

"Don't talk to me like that young lady." she said.

"Ok mom well I am going with Derek to watch them practice. I will be back later I said "bye mom.'

"Bye sweetie." she replied.

So here I am sitting in a car with three people I have never met one that is extreamly hyper and never stays still and my brother.

"So how old are you" Sonny said jumping up and down.

"O 17 soon to be 18" I said looking at him weirdly.

i wonder where this is going.

"So you from Ohio? It will take some getting used to but I am sure you'll fit in fine,"Matt said.

When I looked up all I saw was those chrystal blue eyes and our eyes locked together untill Travis said were here.

"Aww" Sonny said sarcasticly, "Matt and Emmesitting in a tree.."

"Shutup" Matt and I said at the same time causing it to get even worse the it was.

"Aww.... See I told you," Sonny said laughing.

By then my face as so red from blushing and Sonny was laughing so hard he was rolling on the flour in tears.

"Can we pleaseget back to practicing", Matt said madly.

"Ya, we should...its almost 12 o clock. "Ya I shold be getting back before my mom starts to worry. "Ok, who is going to take here home" Sonny said with sarcasom in his voice looling at Matt. "Ok, ok I guess I will take her home" Matt said rolling his eyes.

"See, I new knew you like her you just can't say no to her." Sonny said laughing

So Matt and I went out and got in the car and a soon as Matt turnd on the car and roled down the window Sonny came out and poked his little head through the window and said, "Urgent message from Travis NO kissing" and Matt just pushed him onto the ground and drove of and all we saw of Sonny was him flipping us off.

So we pulled into the driveway andsat there in an akward sylence for2 minutes. Finnaly Matt broke it saying "So you better get going befor your mom starts to worrie. Ya... but I just paused because when I looked up all I saw was thoughs crystal blue eyes staring at me and I froze. We stayed like that for about a minute befor I said I have to go.

Emme Thinking

What the heck I am an Idiot I have to go I'm gona have to punch myself for that one.

"Ha hum, ya you should be getting back see you tommorow or something" Matt said akwardly.
